Since 2009 I work regularly with the New York Times. Most of these drawings were made for the Op-Ed section.
Some of the images have been created in less than six hours from initial brief to delivered final image. Although this kind of schedule is quite intensive it also forces a better cooperation and communication between art director and illustrator.
Over the years I have worked with many of the Times’ art directors and we have always been able to keep this spirit, when working on a piece.
