A pattern for Hämeenkyrö

In early 2016 I got the chance to work on this project. It is a pattern design for Hämeenkyrö – the place in Finland, where I live. It features prominent landmarks of the area like Mannanmäen Näkotorni, the Kyröskoski waterfall and factory and the Mahnala island landscape.
It was nice to work on something that has an application locally.

The magazines and newspapers I usually work for are sometimes not even available, where I live.
The pattern has so far been printed on different kinds of fabrics and it has been used for hats, mugs, towels and underwear(!). The products and the fabrics are for sale locally.
